I
study Pedagogy (last year of Early Education).
Last semester of my studies I spent as a language assistant in Turku, Finland.
I was teaching Polish and English in a secondary school.
I am interested in all feminisms, which naturally has a great impact on
my life, final thesis (under construction) and obvious lack of sense of
humour.
While travelling, I love spending enormous amount of time in one place,
staring at people till I get bored and filled with the strange air.
[As we all know, feminists are extremaly lazy, and that's why you won't
find my projects on this website. Therefore, my membership in NA STYKU is
at risk (hopefully, till June;).]
I'm a student of Education
at UG. I was born on
10.05.1978
in Wrocław,
where
I graduated from The
University of Economics in Wrocław and have a Master
Degree.
From August 2004 to January 2005 I was an exchange student
in the Linköping
Universitet. Almost half of the year 2005 I've spent at the only Danish
folk
university in Germany. At the end of the course we have travelled to
Tunisia
for a week. It was my first and significant time in Africa :)
I'm interested in: philosophy, experimental methods
in social sciences, problems of applying knowledge to practice, leadership
and management,
NGOs.
Activities:
Vice-President of Promoting
Chess Culture Association eMIR. Member of
Student Scientific Society of the Competition Explorers. Chessplayer
in the TTSz
'Tęcza' in Turek. Member of The
Hospitality Club. Chief Editor of a chess magazine "Życie
w kratkę".
I've been a chess teacher since 1997.
Before the Gdańsk period I have also taught chess
in the KKS Polonia Wrocław, Wyższa Szkoła Bankowa in Wrocław, Szkoła Podstawowa
nr 3 WSE in Wrocław. In the academic
year 2003/2004 I was teaching chess in Gdańska
Autonomiczna Szkoła Podstawowa and
later in ASS
Linköping in Sweden.
I
have published: "Organizacja
fraktalna. Warunki dla produktywności wiedzy" ("Fractal
Organisation. Conditions for the Knowledge Productivity") Krokowa 2000,
"Zarządzanie w otoczeniu oceniającym" (Management in the Evaluating
Environment) Białystok 2001, "Kultura
organizacyjna w instytucjach pozarządowych" ("Organisational
Culture in NGOs") Wrocław 2002.
Hobby:
studing, reading books, maths, languages, cooking & baking, web &
posters design, travelling (by HH).
My
delicious
pages. My wiki
profile.
My name is Magda, but I'm called Ruda (not rude,
but red in fact).
I'm studying Pedagogy (5th year of Early Education) and
Scandinavian Philology (4th year) at Gdansk University. I could also
study eg. Slavic Philology. However, I fulfill this part of my
interests outside Gdansk University :).
I'm a member of Slavic-Viking group. You can find us eg. at Slavs'
and Vikings' Festival in Wolin. (I recommend this website:
www.jomsborg-vineta.com
).
I have a fascination for experimental archeology and early medieval
handcraft, especially Slavic jewelery :)).
What's more... I'm interested in globalisation, multi- and
inter-cultural issues (as everyone in “Na Styku” :p).
The summer semester 2004/2005 I spent in Folk High School Uldum
(Denmark). Now I'm thinking of Greece or Spain (I cannot help it...
It seams that I'm unconsciously looking for something even more
fascinating than vikings :p).

I'm a student of Early Education and Teaching English (V year) and Scandinavian Philology (III year) at Gdansk University.
The whole last academic year I spend abroad: first at the Linköping University as a Socrates Erasmus student, and later (01.02.- 1.06.2005) on a Socrates Comenius practice in Bindslev (Denmark), where I was teaching in a primary school.
I am interested in research on not only intercultural relations,
but also life-long learning, folk high-schools, sociology of
sport
(I am also a member of the Student
Scientific Society of the Reaserch on Rivarly)...
I come from Ustka.
My biggest passion is learning languages - after English, Danish and Swedish,
now it's time for French and Spanish ;) In my spare time I play chess and
travel - mostly by hitchhiking - around Europe. I am also a member of the
hospitality
club.
I'm student of Education at Gdansk University. Last academic year 2004/2005 I was studying in Poland. From January it will change, I'm going to Sweden. I will be an exchange student in the Linkoping University.
I'm interested in multiculturalism, bilingualism,
techniques and methods of teaching.
Presently I'm involved in didactic - mathematic project. In this project
mathematicians and teachers work together. It's a really interesting experience.
Dance is still my passion, this summer I got to know the next kind of it. It was flamenco. In my spare time I go to mountains. It's the best relax for me.
